Captain (retired) James Merrill is the CEO/Owner, and (mentor) of Hasten Services headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Merrill is a retired Captain from the West Virginia State Police, a military veteran (Desert Storm), and an FBI National Academy graduate who has over 30 years of leadership and related service experience.

 

Mr. Merrill has received awards from the West Virginia State Police, the United States Marine Corps, the FBI, ATF, Northern District United States Attorney’s Office, and from two previous West Virginia Governors, for his dedication and leadership abilities.

 

Mr. Merrill is a graduate of West Virginia University earning a Master of Arts degree in corporate and organizational communications. Mr. Merrill has been directly associated with awards and recognitions from the Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Administration.

Teressa Merrill is the current Chief Operations Officer of Hasten Services headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mrs. Merrill is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

 

Mrs. Merrill has been a successful businesswoman for over ten years and has been a co-founder, and business partner of Mr. Merrill over the past decade. She has owned and operated several service-oriented businesses in North Central West Virginia.

Mrs. Merrill is actively involved in the community and provides direction to those who are in need.  She is tireless in her efforts to pull a group of people together and has the ability to get things done.

​

Mrs. Merrill has been instrumental with helping frame the organization into a well-rounded business.

Stephanie Drake is the current Executive Officer to the CEO of Hasten Services and Human Resources headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia.

 

Mrs. Drake has over twenty years of experience working as a security specialist with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Mrs. Drake has been involved in the day-to-day supervision of all security staff that includes administrative, incident reports, critical thinking, responding to incidents, involved in monitoring of CCTV feeds to ensure security at sites.  

 

She has received the FBI Associate Director’s Award in Excellence.

Mrs. Drakes is involved in the community and has been profiled in a few movies that were filmed locally.

Martha Gonzalez is the current Regional Director of Hasten Services in Tucson, Arizona.  

 

Mrs. Gonzalez has over thirty years of experience working in the service field.  Mrs. Gonzalez has been involved in the day-to-day supervision of all janitorial staff on the West Coast.  

 

She has received awards from Hasten Services and 500 fortune companies for her ability to lead.  

Mrs. Gonzalez is involved in the community where she lives and works. 

Sophie Vavrock is the current Director of Marketing of Hasten Services in Morgantown, West Virginia.  

 

Miss Vavrock is a graduate of West Virginia University earning a Bachelor of Marketing with a Digital emphasis and a minor in Strategic Social Media.  Miss Vavrock has been directly associated with marketing as an intern for other small businesses.  She has received academic honors through WVU and has multiple certifications in social media.  

  

Miss Vavrock has been a community volunteer and has donated her time for nonprofit organizations.  

Albert Vero is the Chief Administration Officer of Hasten Services LLC, headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Vero retired from the US Bureau of Prisons, is a military veteran who has over 30 years of leadership related service experience. 

 

Mr. Vero has received awards from the US Bureau of Prisons, and the United States Navy.  Mr. Vero participate in Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

Mr. Vero has a strong expertise in management, investigations, security procedures, and training of staff.  He has been in charge of staff of over 200 people and has gained valuable experiences in public speaking, motivational speaking and has the ability to aspire a large group of people.  

Matthew Jackson is the Vice President of Operations of Hasten Services LLC, headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Jackson retired from the US Army and has over 20 years of leadership related service experience. 

 

Mr. Jackson has received awards from the US Army and is a combat veteran, who served and participated in Afghanistan, and Iraq wars.

Mr. Jackson has a strong expertise in construction/maintenance, project management, human resources as specialist and analyst, security procedures, and training of staff.  He has been in charge of staff of over 800 people and has gained valuable experiences in public speaking, motivational speaking and has the ability to aspire a large group of people.  

Chase Harler is the President of Operations of Hasten Services LLC, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Harler graduated West Virginia University in 2020 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Sports Management. 

 

Chase was a four year letterman for WVU Men's Basketball where he appeared in 116 games and played in two Sweet Sixteens. Following his WVU career, Chase played three years of professional basketball in Europe.

Mr. Harler possesses strong management and operational skills. He is a leader in the community and spends his time volunteering with the community.
